Bufandas, bufandas, bufandas.

Hacía mucho que no publicada nada de crochet.  La razón:  en enero no he hecho nada de nada.  Después de los regalos de navidades me tomé en enero unas merecidas vacaciones. 

Después de mis vacaciones, empecé a dar vueltas a qué podía hacer.  Lanas no tenía muchas pero sí tenía las que compré en Londres en Noviembre y una que me había sobrado del año pasado y que era de la misma marca y también había comprado en Londres.  Son todas de la marca Rowan y 100% lana.  Es un gustazo trabajar con ellas. 

¿Qué hacer con cuatro madejas y sin posibilidad de comprar más en estos momentos? 

Una bufanda de rayas.



Aunque parezca increible hice y deshice la bufanda unas pocas de veces hasta que quedé contenta con la combinación final.

Ayer por la noche, sobre las 12, la terminé por completo.  Estoy contenta con mi bufanda porque no tengo nada igual.   



Las otras dos bufandas son el resultado de mi compra de lanas de hace un par de semanas.  Llevaba dándole vueltas a la idea de hacer dos bufandas para mis sobrinos.  Mi madre me ayudó a elegir los colores de ambas. 

Esta se supone que es para el niño.

Y sí, también hice y deshice un montón de veces.  Al principio llevaba otro color más, otro azul, pero no me convencía por más que variaba el orden de los colores. 

Esta se supone que será para la niña.  Me recuerda a Halloween.

Esta al principio me parecía algo chillona.  Igual, probé añadiendo amarillo, añadiendo rojo, cambiando el orden ... al final volví al principio.  ¡Qué trabajo me cuesta siempre combinar colores!  Ahora que la veo terminada me encanta y además al no ser rosa se la pueden intercambiar.

Lástima que la cámara no recoja bien los colores.

Las tres las terminé anoche.

After Christmas I took crochet holidays and that is one of the reasons I haven't done much. 

Then when I started thinking what to do next, I found I had some Rowan yarns that I bought last November and November 2010 in Liberty in London.  So, what to do with four yarns?  A scarf.  This is for me.  I don't have anything like this in my wardrobe.  I did and undid it don't know how many times until I was happy.  It is just that I cannot imagine the result of the final combination. I finished it yesterday night at 12. 

The other two scarfs are for my nephew (blue and white) and my niece (green and orange).  These were made using the yarns I bought at the beginning of this month and my mother helped me choose the colours for both of them.  And again, I did and undid them so many times.... I tried mixing other colours for the green and orange one as I thought it was a bit "loud".  But in the end I went back to the original colours two green and orange and I am very happy with it.  With the blue one I began using these three colours and another blue as well.  But I wasn't happy and tried changing the order of them and everything until I took that blue out and let it with these three colours.  I am very happy with it as well.

This is the first time I crocheted this picot stitch.  I think I need to practice it a bit more.  No problem I still have lots of yarn left.
