Zurich

Durante la visita de la semana pasada a Suiza, aprovechamos un día y nos fuimos a Zurich que está muy cerquita en tren de Basilea.  Ya hemos estado un par de veces pero cada vez que vamos nos gusta más y descubrimos rincones nuevos.

Es una ciudad muy bonita y también muy lujosa, las mejores marcas tienen tienda allí.

Esta zona de la ciudad nos gusta mucho.  No sé cómo se llama.

Una cosa que me gusta mucho de Suiza son las floristerías que hay en las ciudades.  Son preciosas.

Este parque que aparece en la foto de abajo lo descubrimos este año.  Está en lo alto de la ciudad y tiene unas vistas muy bonitas.  Además es muy relajante. La primera foto que os he puesto es una de las vistas que hay desde este parque.

Desde la estación sale la calle Bahnhofstrasse (calle de la Estación).  Si la seguimos llegaremos al lago.  La vista es espectacular.  Hace años divimos una vuelta con uno de los barcos y nos gustaron mucho las vistas.  Esta vez hacía mucho frío como para dar una vuelta en barco.

Otra vista muy bonita, es esta de abajo del río.  Dimos un paseo al lado del río de camino a la estación.  Como veis tuvimos mucha suerte e hizo un día muy bueno.

Además de las vistas aprovechamos para tomarnos unos macaroons en Lauderee, que es la tienda francesa dedicada exclusivamente a los macaroons.  Compramos tres.  El mío es el de frambuesa.

Y después del paseo nos tomamos un chocolate caliente y un trozo de tarta en un sitio que encontramos al lado del río.  Todo muy bueno.  Lástima que no saqué foto de la tarta.

Last week, while staying in Basel, we took a train and went to Zurich.  It was not the first time we visited the city but I must say that everytime we go there we like it better and always discovere new things.

Zurich is a very nice city and very luxury.  The best shops are there.

One thing I like about Switzerland is that there are lots of flower shops like the one in the photograph and even in winter you see lots of beautiful plants and flowers there. It is really a nice sight.

As I say everytime we go there we discovered new things.  This time we discovered a park that was on top of the city.  A very relaxing place and with great views of the river and of the city. 

When you arrived to Zurich by train, there's a street "Bahnhofstrasse" which means Station Street.  If you take this street and follow it you will see the best shops and at the end of it you will arrive to the lake.  It is a beautiful view as well.  This time you could see snow on the montains in the front of the lake.  A few years back we took a boat and went around the lake.  It was worth it.  But this time it was too cold to go on the boat.

We had also time for some macaroons at Lauderee.  Mine is the pink one: raspberry.  And in the afternoon we had some hot chocolate and some cake in a place we found near the lake.  The photos are the last ones.
